All Volunteer Opportunities

Precinct Committee Person or Precinct Worker

The Precinct Committee Person represents the precinct at important party functions and is expected to help get out the vote and inform the precinct about important issues. There are two per precinct. Precinct committee people vote for county officers and serve on replacement committees if there is a legislative vacancy.

A precinct worker assists the Precinct Committee person in getting out the vote and communicating important party issues to the neighborhood.

Making Phone Calls and Answering Phones/Questions

We rely on volunteers to keep our office open as much as possible. Good volunteers are needed to assist our Office Manager in answering phones and responding to citizen questions.

We need individuals who are reliable and can volunteer on a regular basis even if it is only once or twice a week.

General Office Work

Throughout the year the Democratic Party of Denver is involved in a number of major events. In 2007 we will have a reorganization meeting when representatives from all 420 precincts meet to elect new officers.

We need volunteers that we can call in for mailing parties, collating literature, staffing registration tables and so forth.

Some opportunities are event specific when we need many people to work the one event. Other needs are on going and we can use people that can come in on a regular basis. Your help is invaluable. Let us know if you are available.
