Denver City Council has set Tuesday, May 4th as the date for a Special Election by mail-in ballot to fill the District 1 City Council seat that Rick Garcia vacated on March 1st.

Eleven candidates have filed with the Denver Elections Division to enter the race for the May 4th Special Election. The deadline for filing was 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10.  There will be no additional candidates.
