Health Care Resolution

The following resolution was passed unanimously by the attendees of the June 24, 2009, monthly meeting of the House District 7B Denver Democrats.

“While many of us believe that a single payer system would be most cost effective and efficient health care system, in lieu of that we strongly encourage and instruct our elected officials to insist that a comprehensive public health care option be included in the health care reform legislation and that enrollment not be unduly restricted. Basic principles must include comprehensive coverage, community rating, coverage of preventative/wellness care and drug coverage.”
